I further direct that such of my property as may remain unsold for the purpose of paying my debts shall either be divided equally among the children of my two daughters Jane and Catherine, or shall be sold and the proceeds equally so divided. In the event of my Son John not being surviving at my decease, or failing to dispose by Will of the property hereby bequeathed to himsaid property shall be divided among my said grandchildren in the same way. I hereby appoint John M Saunders Esq and Rev. William Purves Executors of this my last Will and Testament. Made this twenty seventh day of September 1865.
